Architectural steel for Greater Sydney is judged twice: once by the engineer and once by everyone who walks past it, and it is fabricated in Moorebank. M&C fabricates framing that satisfies both, from bar carcasses and wine walls to gas cages, hydrant surrounds, balustrades and feature screens.
We work from the architect's detail and the engineer's loads, and where the two disagree we raise it early rather than fabricating something that will be picked up at inspection. Fixings are designed to be hidden, joints are mitred and dressed, and lengths are set out so the visible module lands where the drawing says it does.
Finished in brushed stainless, powder coat to any RAL, or hot-dip galvanised where it lives outdoors. Powder coating adds a hard, even film that resists chipping and fading long after paint would have needed doing again.
