A handrail across Greater Sydney is judged every time someone uses the stair, and the rail itself is rolled and welded in Moorebank. We fabricate rails and balustrades to the loadings in AS 1170 and the height, gap and infill rules in the NCC, then finish them so they feel like one piece.
Curves are rolled rather than segmented. Joints are welded and dressed. Fixings are core-drilled, base-plated or side-fixed depending on the substrate and the look the architect wants.
Internal work in 304 stainless. External and coastal work in 316 or a galvanised and powder-coated system. Glass, vertical baluster or mesh infill, as the drawing asks.
